Burke Shire Flooding Event Donations

Council have been overwhelmed (in a positive way!) from the support of people outside the Burke Shire Community who have offered donations, their time, equipment etc. to help support the Burke Community. Due to the flooding there are a number of factors that need to be considered including airport capabilities, road openings and accommodation avaliability, before we can accept some of the support that has been offered.

Givit Donations

GIVIT is working with the Queensland Government, recovery organisations, councils, not-for-profits and outreach teams to manage donations of items, money and services to support flood-impacted communities across Northwest Queensland.
