RFT: 0280-4609-1 - GREGORY RIVER BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION Burke Shire Council invites tenders from suitably qualified tenderers for the construction of the Gregory River Bridge and associated road realignment works. The bridge is approximatly 180m long, across 9 spans. Works include culvert construction on approaches, road realignment works and other ancillary items. Tender documentation may be obtained from www.vendorpanel.com/marketplace Tenders must be lodged at www.vendorpanel.com by 12pm Monday 11th May 2026

CHANGES TO TENDERS

Council reserves the right to invite tenderers to change their tenders as per Section 288 of the Local Government Regulation 2012.

CONTRACTUAL ARRANGEMENTS WORTH $200,000 OR MORE

In accordance with Section 237 of the Local Government Regulation 2012, all contracts worth $200,000 or more must be published on Council's website.

Register of Prequalified Suppliers Submissions

The Register of Prequalified Suppliers (RoPS) for Burke Shire Council is a procurement tool that streamlines the process of engaging qualified businesses for goods and services. It allows Council to establish a list of suppliers who have demonstrated their capability, compliance, and suitability to deliver specific categories of work. Once prequalified, suppliers may be invited to quote or tender for Council projects without the need for repeated full tendering processes, improving efficiency, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, and supporting local and regional economic development. The RoPS is reviewed and refreshed periodically to maintain fairness, transparency, and value for money. All information provided is confidential.
