Gregory Road and Drainage Upgrade Works 2026–27: Stages 1 and 2
Gregory Road and Drainage Upgrade Works 2026–27: Stages 1 and 2
Burke Shire Council has committed $10 million in the budget to upgrade Gregory’s roads and drainage. This project will deliver essential infrastructure improvements across two distinct stages to support the community.
Stage 1: Stormwater Drainage Works
Construction for Stage 1 is planned to commence at the end of September 2026. These initial works will focus on essential stormwater drainage upgrades across the township to improve water management and reduce local flooding risks. Contractors will establish a designated site material laydown area to support operations throughout this construction period. Residents can expect localized activity near the project boundary as works get underway.
