Hell's Gate Roadhouse

Hell's Gate Roadhouse is located about 50km east of the Northern Territory and Queensland Border on the Savannah Way. In the late 1800's Hell's Gate got its name because the police would guarantee safety to this point. Further west, travellers were on their own! Hell's Gate roadhouse is your stop for food and drink, supplies and fuel “ the last fuel for 320km heading west. There is also accommodation available including powered and unpowered sites, donga rooms and ensuite cabins.
