Community Satisfaction Survey 2016
In 2016, the Burke Shire Council commissioned an independent survey of a random selection of Burke Shire households to gauge the level of satisfaction with the Council's service delivery. In all, 52 households were surveyed throughout the Shire. Statistically, this is considered a good sample. The survey showed that, whilst there are areas in which residents feel the Council can improve service delivery, the overall level of satisfaction is in line with,or slightly higher than, other regional Councils in Queensland.
